This privacy policy describes how laier.io collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you interact with our site and our design partners program.
1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is Romain Darrieus, founder of laier.io. For any question about your data, contact: hello@laier.io.
2. Data collected
In the context of the design partners program, we collect the data you provide via the waitlist form: first name, last name, work email address, company (optional), profile (agency, advertiser, or other), date and time of submission, and the site display language (FR or EN).
3. Purpose of processing
This data is used exclusively to: (a) qualify your profile for the design partners program; (b) keep you informed of laier.io progress approximately every 15 days; (c) contact you within 48h after your submission to confirm your spot or request additional information.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on your explicit consent, collected via a checkbox at the moment of form submission, as well as on our legitimate interest in building a qualified list of launch partners.
5. Retention period
Your data is retained for 12 months from your last contact with us, unless you request earlier deletion.
6. Sub-processors
We use the following sub-processors for processing your data: HubSpot (CRM, hosted in the USA — covered by standard contractual clauses) for program management; Vercel (front-end hosting); Supabase (application hosting, EU-hosted). No other third party has access to your data.
7. Your GDPR rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights: right of access to your data, right of rectification, right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"), right to portability, right to object, right to restriction of processing, right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to hello@laier.io. We respond within 30 days.
8. Right of complaint
If you believe your rights are not respected, you may file a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL): www.cnil.fr — or your local equivalent.
9. Cookies
To date, the laier.io site uses no third-party tracking cookies (analytics, advertising). If we add any in the future, this policy will be updated and a consent banner will be displayed.
10. Changes
This policy may be modified at any time. The last update date appears at the top of the document. For substantial changes, we will inform you by email.
